Rules for Cleveley Bridge

At Cleveley Bridge, we make every effort to keep wildlife, fish and anglers safe at all times. We welcome conscientious and sensible anglers. Therefore you will be asked to follow some basic rules:

Match & Pleasure Lakes

• No Tins by the water’s edge
• Dip all nets prior to fishing
• Barbless hooks only
• Ground bait in moderation
• Keepnets only to be used with the prior agreement of the fishery manager
• Dispose of all litter within the bins provided

Specimen Lake

• No Tins by the waters edge
• Dip nets prior to fishing
• Barbless or Whisker barbed hooks only
• Use of an un-hooking mat
• No nuts or particles unless prepared by a recognised bait manufacturer
• Dispose of all litter within the bins provided
• No keepnets
• No braided mainline or lead core
• No open fires
• Noise must be kept to a minimum after dusk

Our aim is for you to enjoy fishing and the environment. Therefore anyone found to be disruptive will be politely asked to leave.
